Are you aware of the amount of unnecessary junk we carry for years? I took a personal inventory and decided to unload. If I want to maintain my sanity, and live the second half of life free, then I must choose to let it go.
David praised God. Through genuine repentance and confession, God forgave and extended mercy. The simplicity of their relationship calls to us all.
Even for the worst of sinners, God has opened arms and renewal of life!
We are required to trust Him through the unseen and unknown. Handing us a crystal ball would be cheating, and no faith at all.

A word the rebellious hate.

We all are cheaters at some point.
"You don't drown by falling in the water; you drown by staying there." Please, never let a loved one stay there alone.
