Poetry- Not Strong

I’m not strong

Though you think I am.

I’m not much of anything..

Without the Great I Am.

What you see is Christ in me,

And I’m okay with that.

I cling to Him in time of need,

He meets me where I’m at.

On the days of bitterness

And nights on bended knee.

Jesus holds my hand in His,

And kneels right next to me.

Wipes my tears and

Takes by breath.

When I cannot breathe.

Becomes my sight

In times I cannot see.

So what’s this strength you

Think I have,

When tears cease to fall?

It is a Savior’s love,

He supplies it all.

I found the strength

I knew I’d need

And hope for each day.

Endless love he gives to me,

To increase my Christian faith.

When I’m down,

He picks me up,

When up,

He brings me down.

In storms and trials

Of this life,

My Jesus all around.

That’s the strength

That ties my soul

And binds me here to Him.

Christ alone is all I need,

His strength sustains within.

I'm someone who has always had a deep passion for literature and writing. From a young age, I've been captivated by the power of words and the way they can transport us to different worlds, open our minds to new ideas, and connect us with people and experiences that are distant from our own. Whether it's immersing myself in a classic novel, jotting down my thoughts in a journal, or crafting my own creative stories, writing and literature have always been an essential part of my life. I'm excited to continue exploring this rich and rewarding field, and to share my thoughts and insights with others who share my love for all things literary.
