When anxiety tramples your night.
The unknown lies as bait, to ensnare in distrust or divide by hate. Left to it's devices, we run cold. Numb to today because of possibilities in tomorrow.
While something stirs within, a roar of silence overcomes the whisper of hope. This is it. The hand is dealt, the time has come, you lose.
Americans seem to live in a selfish bubble at this time. Unaware of the world in chaos and pain. What some endure today is far greater pain than anything we can comprehend.
You want a friend to believe in you? I am here. You want to take a moment to see another story than your's, I'm here. We can qualify the narrative that power, greed, and brutality exists among those in positions of trust.

And there flying free,
Her dreams escape her now.
As morning sun arises,
And newness hollers, "Free!"
Lies the skeleton of survival,
No longer needed or in need.
"We're not afraid." Shout my American nation behind masks that do no good, gloves that contaminate, and shields of wonder.
This battle eats at your core and terrorizes your mind. If left unchecked, you become a victim of their war.
I never intended to lose myself as I found myself, but I believe that's what happened. I gained insight into one part of me while losing the other.
