I often share my random Facebook posts- do please excuse the lack of formality in my writing. Just words from my heart and ny cell phone.
To follow Jesus and live a life in obedience to God, our will must align with his. That means we surrender all the selfish desires and temptations of this world, and live for him. When we turn from our sinful nature, which the world often labels as anti-‘you fill in the blank,’ we open our hearts and minds to His Word and ways.
Living in Christ is freedom from the many strongholds that imprison people in sin. In Jesus Christ, our Lord, we are never alone in our endeavor of righteousness and obedience.
Taking a stand for our belief through what the Word of God tells us, confuses the world. Unbelievers will not understand. Why? Because the world lives by a different set of standards and is principled in selfish will and ways.
Unlike the media, our hearts must be open to the full message of the gospel and the entire Bible. We cannot take clips or reels in 90 second increments and expect someone to know Jesus. Because following Jesus is much more than an a clip. For those who believe in our Almighty God, our entire life places Him above everything else, loving our neighbors as we love ourselves, and sharing the message of Jesus Christ who lived, died, and rose on the third day. All for salvation and deliverance into his kingdom for eternity.
For God so loved the world that he sent his one and only son, that whosoever believes in him will not perish, but have eternal life. That is the one and only agenda of God. Those and they in this reference relates to every living and breathing soul on earth- in this, no boundaries exist.

Our father in heaven does not care about the walls and boundaries that have been erected here on earth. He is the God for ALL. He is not focused on culture wars, political discord, even the racial tensions. And what I mean by this is that his goal is far beyond any of those society issues. His goal is to bring you HOME with him.
The world cannot understand that, and they won’t. Evil’s plan of destruction and darkness ceases when hearts turn to God. While issues taken up like social justice, cultural integrations, racial divides, equity, etc etc are always well intended, once people put those agendas over the will of God and his love, it opens the door for Satan and his identical desire- to take you home with him instead.
I’m not here to march and protest in opposition of anything except hell. I’m not anti-?, I am pro-Jesus, the Light of the World. The Bible offers a road map to living and following its message would alleviate so much tension. God gave me a mission when we were told in Matthew 28:19-20~
“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
My heart and eyes have been opened this week. No man is perfect, but the love and will of God is. We are equipped by the blood of Jesus and wrapped in the hope and expectation of eternity. Let’s go!
