Poetry- Where it Remains

I glance into the deep,

Back where laughter rang free

And life spun with the force

Of a million galaxies.

Staring at what once was,

a moment of truth,

a weakness unknown

a breath that led to love.

Reaching down

With a gentle touch

The rippling scene fades.

Pulls me in

to roaring waters,

Where memories cascade.

The rushing flow

washes over me;

head back with arms raised.

In complete surrender,

what appears,

I now embrace.

As every second passes,

The recollection unfolds

My body responds to

peace and calm

of a story left untold.

I retreat the waters

where memories remain.

And leave the best behind.

Beautifully wrapped in

Unadulterated display.

Surreal and sublime.

I'm someone who has always had a deep passion for literature and writing. From a young age, I've been captivated by the power of words and the way they can transport us to different worlds, open our minds to new ideas, and connect us with people and experiences that are distant from our own. Whether it's immersing myself in a classic novel, jotting down my thoughts in a journal, or crafting my own creative stories, writing and literature have always been an essential part of my life. I'm excited to continue exploring this rich and rewarding field, and to share my thoughts and insights with others who share my love for all things literary.
