Five Minute Friday- Willing

A prayer of surrender:

Willing to go the distance.

Willing to fight for you.

I lay me down today

Willing to see it through.

You are over this life Lord,

Over those I hold close.

You were willing to die for me,

so I surrender all I love most.

Gone are selfish desires

I am willing to step aside.

Willing to hand you all I am,

That includes my mind.

I hand over my worldly passions,

Exchange them for passions of You.

Letting go in deepest abandon,

The world in me swapped for You.

I am willing to confess my sin, Lord.

willing to confess then walk away.

I am willing to walk with you,

In every step I take today.

I am willing to trust You Lord,

In the times I know I can’t

I am willing to be filled with your peace,

In the words, “Jesus can.”

I am willing to walk this journey now,

This broken life made whole.

I am willing to lay it down, pick up my cross,

As Kingdom’s call foretold.

I'm someone who has always had a deep passion for literature and writing. From a young age, I've been captivated by the power of words and the way they can transport us to different worlds, open our minds to new ideas, and connect us with people and experiences that are distant from our own. Whether it's immersing myself in a classic novel, jotting down my thoughts in a journal, or crafting my own creative stories, writing and literature have always been an essential part of my life. I'm excited to continue exploring this rich and rewarding field, and to share my thoughts and insights with others who share my love for all things literary.
