Five Minute Friday- Day 2 of 31-Gift

Dear God,

I once thought I was the equivalent of nothing. With the past of the textbook version of an abused child. I ran from one false love to another until you grabbed me and said, “Stop.”

You knew what I searched for would never be found in men, or anything else. With calm reassurance for a hurting soul, you introduced me to your Son. You blew the doors off the concept of trust. For all those who let me down, you came into my heart and lifted me up. Your gift of life is immeasurable, conquering all my fears. I do not deserve this gift, and I pray I never stop appreciating it.

For years, I felt no worth, but you placed value on my life. You brought this unbelievable purpose to me every day. A gift of strength and endurance fueled by passion for the love of your Son. You fill me with hope and inspiration that I take to others around this world. Your gift is one that rolls on forever. The legacy of one man’s love carries on through the children of God.

Whatever you place in my heart to share, may it be for the glory of God. May I accept His love and live my life as a dedication to his mission. May we all strive to receive the gift of Jesus Christ as the most essential gift that exists.

In Jesus Name, Amen

I'm someone who has always had a deep passion for literature and writing. From a young age, I've been captivated by the power of words and the way they can transport us to different worlds, open our minds to new ideas, and connect us with people and experiences that are distant from our own. Whether it's immersing myself in a classic novel, jotting down my thoughts in a journal, or crafting my own creative stories, writing and literature have always been an essential part of my life. I'm excited to continue exploring this rich and rewarding field, and to share my thoughts and insights with others who share my love for all things literary.
