Five Minute Friday- Day 6 of 31 Writing Challenge

Notice

With life spinning through time faster than I can keep up, how much do I miss? News flies by, and in the middle of all their bad, there is so much good. Are we too focused on the bad, to see a happy story?

On the cross, Jesus saved one life. One sinful being received the gift of hope and salvation when Jesus said, “Truly, I say to you, today you will be with me in paradise.” (Luke 23:43)

We should take notice. The most unrighteous among the people would live on to join Christ in paradise. It did not matter that his sin was significant enough to land him on a cross of crucifixion. At the end of it all, will your conclusion be with Christ in paradise?

For a brief second, Jesus gave us a glimpse of what’s to come. Our sin was nailed on that cross, and there was Christ to confirm we will find ourselves with Him in paradise. Do you believe? Have you surrendered and given your heart to the Savior? Is today the day you look over from your position of sin and hand your life to God? Is paradise your destination?

Maybe not five full minutes, but a message for eternity.

Jesus loves you.

I'm someone who has always had a deep passion for literature and writing. From a young age, I've been captivated by the power of words and the way they can transport us to different worlds, open our minds to new ideas, and connect us with people and experiences that are distant from our own. Whether it's immersing myself in a classic novel, jotting down my thoughts in a journal, or crafting my own creative stories, writing and literature have always been an essential part of my life. I'm excited to continue exploring this rich and rewarding field, and to share my thoughts and insights with others who share my love for all things literary.
