Close to my heart, this podcast comes to you from the brokenness in addiction on the side of family, namely me, a mother managing living grieving.
No matter the situation, the current event, the personal family conflict- I WILL PRAY
People become desperate to change their life. Or, people get desperate to feed their addiction and lifestyle. It goes one way or the other.
In the priceless moments of memory making, time has been sabotaged by drugs, alcohol, chaos, and the world. While I know the inner peace of God, these episodes overcome me at times.
If we’ve been raised with any moral compass, then we will feel the tension when it goes south.
“They asked if I had any prayer requests today. So, I answered, “Please pray for my daughter. It is hard to wake up every day wondering if she is alive.”
An emotional encounter in prayer, hope, faith, and truth. Recording could not stop the tears from falling. A parents broken heart shows through an audio message.
I know freedom is but a choice to be free. Leaving the black caverns of sinful living for the lighted world of grace. Your forgiveness is not hidden from a single soul. Your mercy is not reserved for the found, but for the lost. Your love is the life raft of all humanity.
Todays episode takes a walk through the dreaded holidays with family addiction. Is there hope of ever recovering our good memories made during family gatherings? What are the side effects of addiction? Family irregularities, health issues, mental health issues, and on and on. Parents carry the living grief daily. Here is a look into one of those days.
