Daily Prompt: December 9, 2023-Favorite Cartoon? Even that’s controversial

Daily writing prompt
What’s your favorite cartoon?

It is 2023, and everything and anything is up for grabs in the ‘let’s create controversy’ atmosphere. Why is that? When did we become a free thinking country to imprisoned by the my feelings matter over truth, facts, or opinion crowd?

Anyhow,

I love this light weight prompt. I needed it after a couple of heavy weeks in career change and information overload through training.

Bugs Bunny and his lively cast of characters is my favorite cartoon. The sarcastic, common sense, fictional talking animal is hilarious! His gun-toting co-star and the conniving cat named Sylvester, will always bring laughter and tears to my eyes.

Can you imagine today’s crowd being forced to watch such aggression? Could they handle it? Everything takes a deep plunge into insanity these days with the cause crowd. Those people who can take any subject and create a protest, social media campaign, or complete meltdown just to be heard and force unnecessary change. (Consider the lost legacy of Aunt Jemima)

So, yes, Bugs Bunny will forever be my cartoon hero. I’d gladly hand him my last carrot and watch him find a babe. Let’s not get started on Pepe Le Pew-the love chasing, over zealous skunk who forces tight holds and strong kisses.

I'm someone who has always had a deep passion for literature and writing. From a young age, I've been captivated by the power of words and the way they can transport us to different worlds, open our minds to new ideas, and connect us with people and experiences that are distant from our own. Whether it's immersing myself in a classic novel, jotting down my thoughts in a journal, or crafting my own creative stories, writing and literature have always been an essential part of my life. I'm excited to continue exploring this rich and rewarding field, and to share my thoughts and insights with others who share my love for all things literary.
